Libby Dicus has more than 11 years of experience advising and representing employers in matters arising under employment law and traditional labor law. She has secured repeated victories for clients facing single or multiplaintiff claims of discrimination, harassment, unfair labor practices, and retaliation and has defended employers in significant investigations and hearings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Libby's experience includes issues arising under state and federal employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), and the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). In addition to her practice before the NLRB, Libby's labor experience includes representing clients in all aspects of grievance and arbitration proceedings. In recent years, Libby has represented Verizon Wireless, IBM, McDonald's, and Kraft Heinz.

Libby partners with clients to establish best practices and avoid litigation. She provides strategic evaluation of issues including wage and hour compliance and joint employment concerns. She drafts employment policies, executive employment and severance agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.

Libby also regularly advises on and negotiates the labor and employment aspects of multimillion and multibillion corporate transactions for public and private companies. For example, Libby recently advised on American Greetings' sale of 60% of its ownership to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
