Carrie Hogan heads up the Chicago Office's Product Liability Practice. Her practice includes a broad range of complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability, toxic tort, and false advertising/consumer fraud lawsuits. She has extensive trial and appellate experience in these areas in state and federal courts.

Carrie was named to the trial team to defend Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Allegiance Healthcare Corporation in their nationwide latex allergy litigation and was active in the successful defense of those cases. She also tried a six-week Lanham Act/Unfair Competition trial for Allegiance in federal district court in Atlanta, Georgia. She represents The Sherwin-Williams Company in its lead paint litigation throughout the country. She was recently part of a team of lawyers for the lead paint industry who successfully achieved the dismissal of the City of Chicago's public nuisance lawsuit; a decision affirmed by the Illinois Appellate Court. Carrie also presented the oral argument on behalf of the entire lead paint industry in obtaining summary judgment in their favor in connection with the identical lawsuit filed by the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Carrie is also involved in the Attorney General action against the lead paint industry filed by the state of Rhode Island, as well as the Mississippi lead paint toxic tort lawsuits.

Carrie is national coordinating counsel for Laboratory Corporation of America's (LabCorp) professional negligence litigation related to its human papilloma virus (Pap smear) testing. She also advises LabCorp on a host of issues relating to its diagnostic laboratory business.

In addition, she currently manages all product liability litigation for The Chamberlain Group, a subsidiary of Duchossois Industries. She also has extensive experience managing and coordinating nationwide litigation programs for clients such as LabCorp, TRW, Experian Information Solutions, and The Chamberlain Group.
