Aimee DeFilippo's practice is entirely devoted to antitrust and competition law. She has experience working on government investigations into prospective and consummated mergers and acquisitions, as well as responding to nonmerger government investigations before the Federal Trade Commission, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and various state attorneys general. She also counsels clients on antitrust issues involving information sharing, pricing, and distribution. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, airlines, computer software, communications, and consumer products. Aimee also spent a year on secondment with the competition law group of The General Electric Company, where she worked on a wide variety of transactional, counseling, and compliance matters across the globe.

Aimee is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law and also serves as a vice chair in the Antitrust Practice Group of the American Health Lawyers Association. She has written extensively for these and other organizations, both as a contributing author for several ABA books and AHLA publications and as a publisher of articles in The Antitrust Source, The Threshold, CPI Antitrust Chronicle, Bloomberg BNA, and others. She also has appeared as a panelist in several ABA and AHLA programs.

Aimee is a member of the Virginia Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
