Drawing on decades of experience in the area, the presenters will also offer practical advice on preparing for and mitigating potential impacts; the discussion will include the benefits and limitations of cyber insurance. Participants will leave the presentation with a better understanding of:

  • Why cyberattacks are among the top risks feared by CEOs.
  • The increasing responsibility of senior management and in-house counsel for cyber breach response.
  • Common pitfalls in breach readiness and response that can escalate liability.
  • Concrete steps a company can take to mitigate the impact of a significant event.
  • Cyber insurance: Coverage issues, trends, and market responses.
