The issue of a multigenerational workplace is a recent one, prompted by the influx of millennials into the workforce. The diversity represented by different generations provides unique challenges and opportunities in the practice of law, as lawyers work with colleagues who have different perceptions—the result of different generational experiences.

In this CLE program, the following topics will be discussed by leading lawyers across the generations, as well as an authority in the field:
  • What you should know about each generation, including styles and preferences, in order to work more effectively in your legal practice with colleagues, clients, and outside service providers;
  • How to be an effective leader in your legal organization who can bridge the gap across generations in the practice of law; and
  • Strategies for capitalizing on the strengths of the multiple generations in the workforce, in order to provide the highest-quality legal service.

  • Lisa Jakob, Managing Counsel, Trademark Group, Merck
  • Arrielle Millstein, Trademark Counsel, Newell Brands
  • Lindsey Pollak, New York Times Bestselling Author, Leading Expert on Millennials and the Multigenerational Workplace
  • Jennifer Chheda, partner, Jones Day
  • Meredith Wilkes, partner, Jones Day
