Throughout his 40 years in practice, Tomo Suzuki has provided counsel on corporate and regulatory matters, including M&A, joint ventures, and licensing and distribution contracts, representing foreign corporations doing business in Japan and Japanese domestic corporations dealing with foreign entities. He also has considerable experience in international litigation and arbitration.

In real estate transactions, Tomo has a broad range of experience, representing major Japanese real estate companies as well as foreign companies and funds involved in real estate transactions in Japan. His experience covers a wide range of real estate properties from office, commercial, and residential buildings to shopping centers, hotels, and factories. He also advises clients on various aspects of the real estate business, from complicated developments and joint ventures to lease and other corporate real estate matters.

Tomo was the Partner-in-Charge of the Tokyo Office from 2013 to 2014. He lectured at Keio Law School on international transactions, lawyers' ethics, and advanced civil law from 2005 to March 2014. In addition, he was a lecturer at Keio University, Law Faculty from 1991 to 1998, teaching civil code (general theory and real estate).
