Maria Pedersen is an international projects and commercial lawyer with an extensive and diverse background in international and U.S., domestic commercial, M&A, capital markets, joint venture, and financing transactions and international arbitration. She has counseled government, public, and private clients in more than 35 countries worldwide and practiced in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Maria is a native Tagalog speaker with many years of experience advising on high-profile inbound and outbound commercial and project-related transactions in the Philippines and Indonesia, across Southeast Asia, and in Europe and the Americas, across a number of industries, including energy and infrastructure, consumer goods, technology, and real estate.

Maria is regularly recommended and recognized as a top-ranking lawyer by leading publications such as International Financial Law Review, Chambers Asia Pacific, and Legal 500 Asia Pacific and has been the lead lawyer in a number of internationally recognized "Deal of the Year" transactions and projects.
