Kat Dore is a litigator who focuses on class actions, qui tam litigation, and product liability cases. She has experience defending and prosecuting claims in both state and federal courts, as well as representing clients in high-stakes domestic and international arbitration proceedings. Kat has represented technology companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, tobacco companies, real estate developers, retailers, and numerous other corporate clients. In addition, she has experience conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on litigation risks in connection with mergers and acquisitions.

Recently, Kat successfully defended a global pharmaceutical company in an international arbitration involving claims of breaches of a commercial development agreement. She also secured a unanimous defense verdict in favor of a worldwide health care company in a product liability lawsuit seeking tens of millions of dollars in damages. Kat's past experience includes representing R.J. Reynolds in a billion-dollar dispute over payments due under the landmark tobacco Master Settlement Agreement and the successful defense of a large-scale commercial real estate developer that resulted in a full jury verdict.

Kat also has a vibrant pro bono practice and is currently actively involved with the Firm's Laredo Project. She has assisted a juvenile sentenced to life without parole in obtaining a reduced sentence under the Miller v. Alabama decision and a persecuted Eritrean citizen in obtaining asylum in the U.S. Kat serves as a member of the Firm's Diversity, Inclusion & Advancement Committee and is on the Junior Leadership Board of the National Immigrant Justice Center.
