Jones Day earns #1 M&A ranking for 64 consecutive quarters

Jones Day ranked #1 worldwide for number of deals in both the Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg M&A league tables for the third quarter of 2016, maintaining a position the Firm has held for 16 years.

  • Galenica's $1.53 billion acquisition of Relypsa 
  • AGIC Capital and consortium's €925 million ($1.05 billion) acquisition of KraussMaffei Group from Onex Corporation 
  • Fisterra Energy's sale of Ventika to IEnova in Mexico 
  • Hope Construction Materials' sale to Breedon Aggregates in the U.K. 
  • RPC Group's acquisition of Global Closure Systems  
  • naviHealth, a Cardinal Health company, acquires Curaspan Health Group 
  • Wendy's joint venture in Brazil to open restaurants in Sao Paulo 
  • Hyster-Yale Materials' indirect acquisition of Bolzoni by way of mandatory tender offer in Italy 
  • ConAgra Food's joint venture between Lamb Weston/Meijer and Belaya Dacha to construct and operate the first of its kind potato processing plant in Russia  
  • CSW Industrials' settlement in a proxy contest initiated by Newtyn Management.
