MEWA SARL successfully defends investigation and litigation related to allegations of infringement of competition rules

Jones Day successfully advised and represented MEWA SARL in an investigation by the French competition authority, the Autorité de la Concurrence, and subsequent court litigation, alleging infringement of Article 101 and 102 TFEU and the corresponding provisions of French competition law. The investigation was closed by the Autorité de la Concurrence without any finding of an infringement of competition rules. On appeal by the complainant, the Cour d'Appel in Paris and the French Supreme Court, the Cour de Cassation, confirmed the finding that the client did not infringe competition rules.
