PCS Nitrogen obtains air permits for expansion at company's Lima, Ohio facility

Jones Day is assisting PCS Nitrogen, Inc. in obtaining air permits for expansions of ammonia and urea production at the company's Lima, Ohio facility using projected emission calculations that showed no significant increase in emissions. The project did have a PSD permit issued for greenhouse gas emissions, but that permit was voided in light of the Supreme Court's decision in Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA, 134 S. Ct. 2427 (2014). Jones Day assisted the facility in responding to a subsequent EPA inspection that focused on expansion air permit issues.
