Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei wins coverage from two insurance companies

Jones Day has represented Prince Jefri Bolkiah in his efforts to collect litigation costs from two insurance companies, Tokio Marine and Illinois National (an affiliate of AIG). These efforts have included a lawsuit that forced Tokio Marine to acknowledge coverage, a mediation in which Prince Jefri obtained a settlement from both Tokio Marine and AIG, and a successful follow-on arbitration against Tokio Marine. Following the arbitration, Tokio Marine filed suit to modify the arbitration award.
