Bayer successfully settles case against Lyondell following arbitration

Jones Day successfully settled a case on behalf of the Bayer companies involving the petrochemicals industry in which the Bayer companies sought to get a confidential arbitration award overturned, alleging that the Lyondell family of companies obtained the arbitration award by engaging in "fraud or undue means" as that term is used in the Federal Arbitration Act and in cases interpreting same.
