Justin Stahl represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies in a broad range of complex business transactions, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures, private equity transactions, including platform, add-on, and carve-out transactions, as well as minority, growth equity, and venture capital investments. Justin also has significant experience counseling companies on corporate governance and securities matters. Justin has worked on more than 100 M&A transactions totaling more than $50 billion during his career.

Justin's significant representative transactions prior to joining Jones Day in 2023 include advising Wolt Enterprises Oy in its $8 billion acquisition by DoorDash; Francisco Partners in multiple transactions, including in its $3.4 billion take-private acquisition of VeriFone and investment in GoodRx; Fly Leasing in its $2.36 billion sale to an affiliate of the Carlyle Group; Softbank Vision Fund investment in a $16 billion transaction for a company in India; Vista Equity Partners in the sale of its majority interest in NAVEX Global to BC Partners; Crestview Partners in its acquisition of AutoLenders; HGGC in its take private of RPX Corporation; Sumeru Equity Partners in its sale of MDSL to Oak Hill Capital and Riverside Partners; and TPG and the Rise Fund in its investment in Vasaragen.
