Bénédicte Ourbak's practice areas includes venture capital, private equity, and M&A.

Bénédicte joined Jones Day in 2025 after completing several internships at leading French and international law firms in Paris, in the office of a French judicial administrator (a court-appointed insolvency professional), and in private equity on the finance side.

She maintains close ties with the academic world and is an agrégée (holder of the highest competitive teaching diploma in France ) in history and has taught geopolitics to students preparing for admission to HEC Paris business school. She also took part in a startup incubator program, which gave her a practical perspective on the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
