Prisoner's sentence reduced in cocaine conspiracy case

Jones Day successfully challenged Joseph Franks' sentence in a cocaine distribution conspiracy case handled by the firm pro bono pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act, which ultimately resulted in a 16-year reduction of Mr. Franks' sentence (from more than 21 years to 6 years.)
