Clients Castruita-Gomez, Francisco Javier

Jones Day represented a lawful resident of the United States who is petitioning the Ninth Circuit for review of a decision ordering him removed from the country. In 2006, the immigration judge concluded that the petitioner had been convicted of two state-law offenses that served as the basis for removal. The BIA affirmed the decision.
