Kaiser Aluminum challenges NLRB conclusion that it unlawfully locked out employees after strike

Jones Day was retained by Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. to challenge the findings and conclusions of a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) that Kaiser unlawfully locked out 3,000 employees for more than 18 months after the union ended its strike. The issues include whether Kaiser's proposal sought to change the scope of the bargaining unit and whether Kaiser insisted upon the union's acceptance of its proposal as a condition of agreement.
