Colorado voters challenge constitutionality of Colorado's voting district map in U.S. Supreme Court
Clients Colorado General Assembly
Jones Day represented the Colorado General Assembly when four Colorado voters brought suit under §1983 to challenge the constitutionality of Colorado's voting map. A three-judge court dismissed the suit for lack of jurisdiction, based on the Rooker-Feldman doctrine. On direct appeal to the Supreme Court, we obtained a reversal of that judgment, and remand to the three-judge court for further proceedings.
