Client is saved from eviction from public housing

Clients Ms. Memere

Jones Day represented a client who was facing possession proceedings by the local council, because she was in public housing. If the council been successful, then she would have been left homeless. The client had a very low income and the arrears of £400 were impossible for her to meet quickly, and of minimal value to the council. Jones Day represented her in the County Court and obtained a suspension of the warrant for possession, allowing the client to stay in her home.
