Bank of America successfully removes case based on fraudulent joinder argument

Jones Day represented Bank of America Corporation in a case brought in state court under Texas law by a former employee against her supervisor and the Bank. Bank of America successfully removed the case, arguing that the supervisor was fraudulently joined and that, as a result, complete diversity existed between the Plaintiff and the Bank.
