Cardinal Health defends against antitrust conspiracy putative class
Clients Cardinal Health, Inc.
Jones Day is defending Cardinal Health in antitrust conspiracy litigation brought by a putative class in 2018. The litigation was dismissed with prejudice in November 2018, and plaintiffs' appeal to the Seventh Circuit is pending. This case involves novel claims by a putative class invoking the rarely-used vertical conspiracy exception to the general prohibition against indirect purchaser antitrust lawsuits.
