Ecolab wins summary judgment against age discrimination claims
Clients Ecolab, Inc.
Jones Day successfully defended Ecolab, Inc. and three Ecolab executives against a lawsuit filed by a former manager who alleged age discrimination and various common law claims as a result of his discharge. The former manager claimed that there was a pattern and practice of age discrimination at the company. Following extensive discovery and summary judgment briefing, the former manager voluntarily dismissed all claims against all defendants except his claim of age discrimination against Ecolab. On September 28, 2018, the court granted Ecolab’s Summary Judgment Motion, dismissing the former manager’s claim against the company.
