Social Finance acts as intermediary for Ventura County Project to Support Reentry

Jones Day represented Social Finance, Inc. in its role as intermediary for the Ventura County Project to Support Reentry, a collaborative pay for success project between Ventura County, Interface Children & Family Services, and Social Finance. Impact investors including Reinvestment Fund, Nonprofit Finance Fund, Blue Shield of California Foundation, and The Whitney Museum of American Art Fund initially fund program costs and will be repaid by Ventura County if project outcomes are successfully achieved. Through this project, Interface Children & Families will serve 400 adults on formal probation in Ventura County over four years. The project aims to reduce recidivism, improve public safety, and promote family stability and economic opportunity for those on formal probation in Ventura County.
