Lam Research obtains $900 million financing for acquisition of KLA-Tencor

Jones Day represented Lam Research Corporation, a leading supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and services to the worldwide semiconductor industry, in connection with a $900 million unsecured term loan facility provided by a syndicate of lenders led by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. The facility will be used to finance the acquisition of KLA-Tencor Corporation and to pay fees and expenses in connection therewith.
