For-profit education company resolves state Attorney General investigation into potential violations of state's Unfair and Deceptive Practices Act

Clients For-profit education company

Jones Day undertook representation of a for-profit education company at the conclusion of a state's Attorney General investigation and on the eve of threatened litigation. We raised new defenses and convinced the Attorney General not to sue, resolving the matter for a small fraction of the sum the Attorney General originally sought.
