NCAS obtains release of GSA documents under FOIA

Clients National Civic Art Society

On behalf of the National Civic Art Society (NCAS), Jones Day successfully appealed a decision of the General Services Administration, winning the release of the names of designers and firms that entered the portfolio-based competition to design the National Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial, which is to be constructed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. This was an important victory for pro-bono client NCAS in its campaign against the current proposal, which has been rejected by representatives of the Eisenhower family and the National Capital Planning Commission.
