Marc Silverstein , working pro bono on behalf of the Greater Cleveland Partnership's Commission on Economic Inclusion ("COEI"), advised COEI in its negotiations with the City of Cleveland, the Construction Employers Association, several construction unions, and others to develop a Memorandum Of Understanding Regarding Community Benefits And Inclusion for use in private sector construction contracts in the Greater Cleveland area. The Memorandum Of Understanding addressed issues such as a workforce study, pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship training opportunities, voluntary workforce reporting, and diversity and inclusion in the construction industry in the Cleveland area.
