Jones Day advised a UK commercial bank on the portfolio reconciliation and dispute resolution obligations imposed by the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). Jones Day provided guidance on how the bank could comply with these risk mitigation obligations, including by adherence to the ISDA protocols, and drafted bespoke documentation to enable the bank to enter into EMIR compliant bilateral agreements with its counterparties.
