Judgment is obtained against company and individuals involved in foreclosure consultant fraud

Clients Godoy, Carlos A.; Godoy, Lesli E.; Ornelas, Juan

Jones Day represented three families defrauded by a company and its agents after seeking assistance with home loan modifications.  The company engaged in a pattern of predatory and fraudulent conduct, receiving payments from low-income families without providing any loan modification services. Jones Day sued the company under its several aliases, along with the company's officers, employees and agents complicit in the fraud.  Two years after the case originated, Jones Day obtained default judgment, including damages, costs, and attorneys' fees, against all defendants.
