Jones Day represents two Ghanaian companies with British, Canadian, and Indian shareholders against the Government of Ghana in a gold mining dispute arbitrated at the International Chamber of Commerce, International Court of Arbitration. The claimants seek compensation for breaches of the project agreement they entered into with the Government of Ghana and other violations of Ghana law, including unlawful expropriation of their property and right to conduct mining and auxiliary activities.
