Clients Fortune 250 company
In 2008 Jones Day represented a Fortune 250 client in an international arbitration commenced in the London Court of International Arbitration against a Bermuda-based insurance company for coverage under an Employment Practices Liability policy. This matter involved coverage for claims arising out of a settled employment discrimination class action. The arbitration involved alleged late notice, the number of covered "claims" asserted, coverage for non-monetary relief, and coverage for amounts payable upon termination of employees involved in the underlying claim.
