Ms. Kramer was a plaintiff in retaliation case filed in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York. A ten-year employee of a New York City-funded nonprofit woman's shelter, Ms. Kramer was subjected to age/race discrimination and harassment after reporting contracting irregularities and abuse of shelter residents by mid-level management to agency superiors.
