Spinal Concepts defends against arbitration alleging violation of international distribution and marketing agreement

Jones Day represented Spinal Concepts, Inc., a distributor of synthetic bone graft material also known as Abbott Spine, in an arbitration where the German manufacturer of the material claimed the distributor violated an international distribution and marketing agreement. We also challenged in federal court the arbitration award in favor of curasan AG. The federal district judge entered an order granting Spinal Concepts's motion to vacate the arbitration award in part.
