Roadway Express reaches settlement in hearing before the D.O.L. involving discrimination allegations

Jones Day defended Roadway Express against allegations of discrimination. The claim was settled. Representation involved a hearing before the U.S. Department of Labor Administrative Review Board in which Larry Eash, an over-the-road commercial truck driver, alleged that his employer, Roadway Express, Inc., violated the Surface Transportation Assistance Act when Roadway issued Mr. Eash a five day suspension for failing to make his agreed running time on a return trip to Roadway's Copley, OH terminal.
