R.J. Reynolds obtains dismissal of proposed class action of Tennessee consumers

Jones Day, on behalf of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco, obtained dismissal of a proposed class action of Tennessee consumers alleging they paid inflated health-insurance premiums due to the presence of cigarette smokers in the insurance pool. The defendants' motion to dismiss was granted and affirmed on appeal.
