IBM settles patent infringement case against Amazon.com involving electronic ordering systems

Jones Day represented IBM in a patent infringement case against Amazon.com. The two patents-in-suit relate to a computer-implemented hypertext system, an electronic catalog requisition system and the method for ordering items from suppliers. The case settled on mutually agreeable terms.
