(Branch Bank & Trust) in an action and cross-action with claims for breach of contract, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, constructive discharge, fraud, conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair competition among a leading wholesale insurance broker, its top broker and her chief assistant, and its CEO and local office leadership. After months of discovery abuse, the Court entered terminating sanctions against plaintiff and awarded CRC over $2.7 million in damages, attorneys' fees and costs in the cross-action and over $1.6 million in attorneys' fees and costs in plaintiff's original action.
