
Jones Day partner Ann Hollenbeck recognized as a "Leader in the Law" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly
Michigan Lawyers Weekly has recognized Jones Day partner Ann Hollenbeck on its 2022 "Leaders in the Law" list. The editors select attorneys who are "setting the standard for other lawyers through their outstanding contributions to the practice of law and the justice system in Michigan."
Partner-in Charge of the Firm's Detroit Office, Ms. Hollenbeck is a partner in the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice. She advises clients in the health care and life sciences industry on digital health, reimbursement, pharmacy/340B, human subjects research, and fraud and abuse matters. She also represents health care, life sciences, and technology companies, as well as telemedicine providers, in such transactional matters as ancillary services and pharmacy arrangements, joint ventures, and physician-hospital relationships, including co-management arrangements. Ms. Hollenbeck regularly advises these entities with regard to the negotiation of clinical trial-related agreements, including virtual clinical trials, in addition to related regulatory matters, such as Medicare reimbursement and institutional review board responsibilities.
Ms. Hollenbeck previously served as assistant general counsel at the University of Michigan. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and of the State Bar of Michigan and is the former chair of the organization's Health Law Section. She is also a member of the community board of Ele's Place in Ann Arbor and is on the board of directors of Gift of Life Michigan—an organ procurement organization for those in need.
