Jones Day's Tom York chosen for Leadership Dallas Class of 2023

Tom York, a partner in Jones Day's Antitrust & Competition Law Practice, was selected to participate in the Leadership Dallas Class of 2023.

Mr. York is an antitrust lawyer who defends companies and individuals in antitrust litigation, merger review, and civil and criminal antitrust investigations. He currently serves in leadership positions in the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law, the State Bar of Texas Antitrust & Business Litigation Section, and the Dallas Bar Association Antitrust & Trade Regulation Section. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included challenging the constitutionality of life without parole sentences imposed on minors and supporting survivors of human trafficking. Outside of his active antitrust practice, Mr. York has served in a board or executive capacity on a number of Dallas-area nonprofit organizations, including the YMCA, Cancer Blows, and Boy Scouts of America.

Leadership Dallas is a nine-month leadership development program founded by the Dallas Regional Chamber in 1975 to identify a pipeline of future leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the greater Dallas area. The program educates participants on critical issues facing the community, including human services, government and politics, economic development, health care, criminal justice, education, and arts and culture.
