Angel Huang has been appointed Partner-in-Charge of the Firm's Mainland China offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
In 2017, Ms. Huang was appointed Partner-in-Charge of the Shanghai Office and currently serves on the Firm's Advisory Committee. Ms. Huang serves as M&A Chair for Asia, and focuses her practice on cross-border M&A transactions, foreign direct investments (FDIs), private equity and venture capital transactions, and strategic investments. She has more than a decade of experience practicing in China.
Ms. Huang is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of North Alabama's Executive MBA program in Suzhou and Changzhou, China, where she teaches courses on M&A and corporate governance.
Ms. Huang obtained her LLB from Soochow University School of Law in Taiwan in 1999. After graduation, she joined an international firm in Taiwan as a trademark practitioner. After three years, she started her studies in the United States at Washington University in St. Louis where she received an LLM in International Law, an LLM in Intellectual Properties and Technologies, and a JD.
