Jones Day’s Vica Irani interviewed on "Drinks with The Deal" podcast

Vica Irani, chair of the EMEA region for Jones Day's M&A Practice, appeared on The Deal’s "Drinks With The Deal" podcast. Ms. Irani describes how deal activity continued through the challenges of COVID-19. She also describes how dealmakers in the U.K. and Europe confronted the pandemic after four years of managing the uncertainty created by Brexit.

"There has been a great deal of thought about what 'ordinary course' means, what carve-outs are appropriate to deal with COVID-19, and what force majeure provisions look like," Ms. Irani told The Deal's David Marcus. "But by and large, the agreements themselves have held up."
