
Eric Love elected to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association
Eric A. Love, an associate in the Firm's Financial Markets Practice in the New York Office, was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association ("MBBA") for the 2020-2023 term.
The MBBA is a unified, New York City-based association of African American and other minority lawyers that is focused on advancing equality and excellence in the pursuit of justice, aiding in the progress of Blacks and other minorities in the legal profession, addressing legal issues that affect the New York City community, and fostering the study of law by encouraging the personal and professional development of young lawyers and law students.
Mr. Love has experience representing financial institutions and multinational corporations in a wide variety of regulatory, compliance, government enforcement, and litigation matters. He concentrates his practice on the regulation of fintech, broker-dealers and investment advisers, and on the formation and regulation of private investment funds (such as hedge, private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds). He is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Private Investment Funds Subcommittee.
