Karen P. Hewitt named to The Daily Transcript’s list of Influential Women

Ms. Hewitt represents companies in complex criminal, civil, and administrative cases. A former United States Attorney for the Southern District of California, she is widely recognized as a leader in the California business and legal communities, in addition to being one of the country's most prominent investigations practitioners. A trusted advisor to directors and officers of numerous companies, her work includes complex and multijurisdictional investigations for Fortune 100 companies across many industries, including health care, retail, and automotive. For example, she is lead outside counsel for one of the world's largest companies in one of the most significant Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations in history, directing a global team of more than 100 lawyers investigating issues across multiple countries. Ms. Hewitt is also currently lead counsel for a corporate client in a multidistrict litigation involving more than 2,000 lawsuits.
