Jones Day's Sydney Office recently hosted a roundtable discussion with guest speakers Mr. Chris Jordan AO, Commissioner of Taxation and Mr. Jeremy Hirschhorn, Second Commissioner at the Australian Tax Office. Hosted by Jones Day Tax Partner Dr. Niv Tadmore, the Commissioner and Second Commissioner discussed the likely future of taxation, in particular in respect of tax administration and cooperation, and in the context of large business taxpayers.

The roundtable was represented by more than 25 large multinational companies with operations in Australia across diverse industries including Big Tech, energy, mining, banks, aviation, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
