The Tenth Annual Chicago Forum on International Antitrust Issues is the only Midwest conference of its kind. It is designed to examine the latest developments in competition regulation around the globe providing practitioners and regulators with up-to-date and practical information. The forum's featured address will be given by Bilal Sayyed, Director of the Office of Policy Planning for the Federal Trade Commission.
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Jones Day partner Pamela Taylor will speak on a panel entitled "Innovation, Nascent Competition, and National Champions: Facebook, Siemens/Alstom and the Future of International Merger Review." The panel will be moderated by Matthew Newman, chief correspondent Europe, Mlex. Other panelists include Paul Csiszár of the European Commission, Felipe Irarrázabal of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile, and Nick Koberstein of Abbott Laboratories.

Up to 6.75 general CLE credit hours for the State of Illinois will be available. Illinois lawyers should be sure to bring their ARDC numbers (Illinois Bar numbers) with them to the event. Please note that we can only provide CLE credit to individuals who submit their attendance logs within 21 days of attending a program. Attendance logs submitted after the 21-day deadline will not be accepted.
Non-Illinois lawyers will receive a CLE attendance certificate in order to self-submit in their own states. While many states have reciprocity arrangements with Illinois, attendees should check with their home state to confirm reciprocity.
