Jones Day partners Bénédicte Graulle and Jamila Hall selected for GIR’s Women in Investigations survey

Jones Day partners Bénédicte Graulle and Jamila Hall have been selected for inclusion in the prestigious Global Investigations Review 2018 Women in Investigations survey. The survey profiles the top 100 women currently working in the field of investigations worldwide, from lawyers, barristers, and government prosecutors to forensic accountants and in-house counsel. This is the second time GIR has compiled its Women in Investigations survey, following its launch in 2015. The survey is compiled by GIR’s experienced editorial team and looks to highlight the standout female professionals in this historically male-dominated area of law.

Ms. Graulle, resident in the Firm's Paris Office, is one of France’s female pioneers and leading practitioners in white collar investigations. She focuses on investigations, criminal litigation, and compliance counseling, with significant experience representing multinational companies in complex and often cross-border internal investigations. Ms. Graulle has assisted companies with criminal and regulatory issues across a wide variety of subject matters, including anti-bribery, corruption, stock trading, and market manipulation, as well as anti-money-laundering. She also has developed significant experience in cybercrime and criminal trials in Africa. Since joining Jones Day in 2012, Ms. Graulle has developed and grown the Paris white collar team to the point where it can take on a matter of any size and complexity. She and her team represent French and international clients facing high-stakes proceedings in France and abroad, and between 2015-2017, they won all of their cases before French courts.

Ms. Hall, in the Firm’s Atlanta Office, is a former federal prosecutor and accomplished trial lawyer. She has served as defense and investigative counsel to several Fortune 500 companies and regularly advises clients on compliance matters and conducts internal investigations throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. While an Assistant United States Attorney, Ms. Hall tried numerous multidefendant white-collar crime jury trials to verdict and successfully prosecuted dozens of financial fraud cases. Ms. Hall is a member of the Criminal Justice Act panel and is routinely appointed by the district court to represent indigent defendants in federal fraud matters. She is Atlanta city lead/East Coast vice chair for the Women's White Collar Defense Association and chair of the Criminal Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Ms. Hall is also president of the Leadership Institute of Women of Color Attorneys and a member of Leadership Atlanta, Class of 2017.
