Presentation: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

The recently enacted Tax Cuts and Jobs Act represents the most significant U.S. federal tax reform legislation in the last 30 years. It will have a significant impact on just about every type of business or investment entity and its transactions, including corporations, so-called pass-through entities, international IP ownership strategies, private equity / venture capital transactions, real estate ventures, and mergers and acquisitions, among others. Please join us on February 8 for a discussion of this important legislation. The two-hour presentation will include technical analysis as well as a discussion of the practical impact on existing and future transactions.

Scott is currently an adjunct professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and the International Tax Center at Leiden University in the Netherlands, where he teaches courses on U.S. corporate and international taxation.
