Chen Ye represents public and private companies in securities offerings, SEC compliance, domestic and cross-border financing and M&A transactions, restructurings, and other general corporate governance matters. She has advised clients in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, semiconductors, media and social media, education, tourism, banking, jewelry, gaming, retail, mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing.
In addition, Chen has handled pro bono assignments. She has advised Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) on the offering of Women's Livelihood Bonds and low income workers in wrongful termination cases. Chen actively participates in national and local organizations promoting better communication and understanding of U.S. and Chinese laws and cultures and is currently the board secretary of Chinese American Lawyers of the Bay Area (CALOBA).
Chen is fluent in Mandarin and previously practiced in the New York, Menlo Park, and Hong Kong offices of international law firms.
