Stan Weiner has represented clients across a variety of industries in complex labor and employment matters for more than 38 years in practice. He focuses on the defense of employers in class litigation and administrative investigations involving the FLSA, state wage-hour laws, retiree medical and other ERISA benefits claims, and employment discrimination claims. Stan's practice also includes extensive representation of employers in union-management relations matters, including NLRB proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, union corporate campaigns, labor arbitration proceedings, and related litigation. He also has an extensive practice counseling clients on preventative measures, including reviewing wage-hour compliance, reviewing policies and conducting investigations, as well as counseling clients on issues arising in mergers, sales, and other corporate transactions.

Stan's client-centered, creative approach has long been recognized by clients. In recognition by Chambers, clients noted that he "understands the issues and thinks of creative resolutions" and "understands the intricacies of evolving DOL standards in ways that few lawyers do."

Stan has been named by Lawdragon as one of the Top 20 Lawyers in traditional labor law since 2015. He was also named a "Client Service All-Star MVP" in a 2009 survey of outside counsel conducted by BTI Consulting Group. MVPs stand out for superior client service for two or more consecutive years. He has lectured at seminars on various employment law topics, including employment discrimination.
